Categorized as an event eventhough its technically a motocross race. This is a vintage bike race, that is equally focussed on the people, community and the cool bikes as much as the racing.

Main track, beginner track, kiddie track. RV hook ups. Well organized, and well prepped track. Has VP gas and small gear store.
Reservations needed text 425-698-0159. Max 45 people.
map provided upon rsvp by texting.
In the middle or Oregon. 2 hrs south of Bend. Great scenery. For Washington folk…..a must do at least once, or do as a stop on the way to Cali or Vegas riding.
Main track, kid track, sand track, open sand riding. Main track is fast. Sells VP gas and Ice.
Well set up arenacross track. Huge fun for the winter blues. Local area has it all.
One main track. Great dirt, fun layouts, tighter layout compared to Horn Rapids.
Thursday Night Motocross Portland .com
Awsome everything! Dirt, layout, Atmosphere and vibe……One track, not tight but not open fast.
One track. Open in winter only. The dirt hold ups really well in the wet.
Open free ride area. No trails. Flag required and very good idea with the side by sides out there, not as overcrowded with 4 wheeled ORVs compared to Moses Lake. Good for winter riding when sand is wet. Jumping the dunes is heaps of fun…..but rotate who spots and jumps.
Not an ‘open’ riding area but a gateway to the awsome trails and fire roads south and east of lake Pend Oreille. Out here is where Gold Creek Lodge is, if open ride by and grab lunch. Good for ADVs, Dual Sports and regualar dirt bikes. Study the maps and you’ll find routes for everything. The elevated views of the lake are a must see.
A trail network on Canfield mountain near lake CDA. Good for near-in single track riding. Most the trails are novice…..beginner and advanced are lacking. A good spot if your doing a lake/ride week end.
A local favorite. Easy to advanced. Closed in winter from Dec 1 thru end of April.

There are 8 Green Dot areas. These areas are great for ADVs and Dual Sports. regular dirt bikes are good too for exploring and a more relaxed ride. Teaching beginners is also good for learning basic bike control. These areas do though offer some great views.
Hit the below link for Green Dot maps. On that page click the “Print your Own Map” and the maps will drop down.
A easy to access common ride area. Easy to advanced. Open all year.
Similar to Moses or Beverly but way bigger. Flag is required and needed due to the usual 4 wheeled ORVs and lack of etiquette. But, its size means you can usually ride out and find space thats not crowded. Best in winter or after a hard rain. When this place has a dusting of snow is the best time….awsome hook up with an MX14 mounted up. Summer…..dont bother.
Not a true open ride but loads of trails, official and not. It seems like an open ride area. Good for after work rides. If plated you can explore deeper in towards both Mica peaks and even as far as CDA lake. West siders can combine this ride with a lake weekend, or fit into an after busines trip to Spokane.
Open free ride area. No trails. Flag required and very good idea with all the side by sides out there. Can be overun with side by sides who dont have the same etiquette as two wheelers. Good for winter riding when sand is wet. Jumping the dunes is heaps of fun…..but rotate who spots and jumps.
A classic true open free riding area. From experts to beginners. Be careful as always of 4 wheeled ORVs who dont practice 2 wheeled etiquette, but this place is still 2 wheeled dominant. Its got hill climbs, tree riding, loads of whoops, and meandering trails. Great for a quick ride, to tune the bike, teach a beginner or climb hills, jump off clifs, blitz whoops and play tag thru the trees. Be creative and its loads of fun.
A mix of trail and open ride area. Good for beginner to novice, practicing and tuning the bike, or a quick ride after work.
This place is open free ride. Although there are established trails which are best anyway. Go up road “R” to parking. From there follow the huge power lines up. There are some fun hill climbs to be had. Good for all. Beginners to expert; ADV’s to track bikes. All can have fun. If you get lost up there, look for and follow the power lines back down to parking.
St Joe Cycle Club FB and event dates link
The St. Joe Cycle Club was founded in April of 1965 by a few St. Maries residents who had a vision to maintain and preserve a riding & recreation area that could be used by all. In the process, some pretty great local races began to happen at Christmas Hills; and they continue to this day.
The St. Joe Cycle Club is a non-profit group that is run completely by volunteers who donate time, work and sometimes some of their own money, to ensure that Christmas Hills Recreation Area continues to be available for camping, motorcycle and ATV riding, and of course home to great race events. If you are using The Christmas Hills area and enjoy it, please do your part to ensure that it continues to be available for us all to enjoy…..pack it in, pack it out.
A easy to access common ride area. Easy to advanced. Open all year.
Not a true ‘open ride’ area like 7 mile. It consists of trails that are surprisingly challenging for a near-in single track ride area. It does have easy trails too. This is the place to get your roots, rocks, tight single track with out having to drive to the mountains.
Whiskey Dick ride area pdf map link
A green dot road network best for just getting out there late fall and early winter. Closed from Feb…..check current dates. (although the eastern road is open – study the map carefullly). This place is notable for 2 things…..1) a place to just ride late season or winter and 2) if you ride in far enough you can get nice views of the columbia river. Best for ADVs, Dual Sports and a good place for beginners to practice basic skills.
